Slip and Slide with Miami's Baddest.

Released in June 2002 (Issue #153), this highly collectible vintage edition of The Source features Miami icon Trina gracing the cover of the 4th Annual Swimsuit Special. Dropping right in the heart of her Diamond Princess era, this issue captures Trina dominating the Southern hip-hop landscape.

Beyond the cover, this issue is a perfect 2002 time capsule packed with pivotal industry shifts. It features an early look at Cam'ron transitioning into his Roc-A-Fella Records era, a sit-down with Suge Knight attempting to launch "Tha Row," and a feature on the massive commercial explosion of Ashanti ("Hip-Hop Saves R&B"). (Bonus: The back cover features a vintage 2002 "Nu. Classic. Soul." advertisement for Coca-Cola).
