Money, Cash, Hustlers: Who Ran Hip-Hop in '98.

Released in February 1999 (Issue #113), this annual "Power 30" edition of The Source serves as a massive state-of-the-union for the hip-hop industry following one of its most dominant years. Featuring moguls Puffy and Russell Simmons alongside super-producer Timbaland on the cover, this issue breaks down the executives and artists who controlled the culture at the end of the decade.

This issue is an incredible historical wrap-up, featuring "The 1998 Hip-Hop Yearbook" which chronicles the massive breakout years of Jay-Z, DMX, Lauryn Hill, and Snoop Dogg, alongside a feature crowning Big Pun as "Crusher of the Year." (Bonus: The back cover features a classic 1999 vintage advertisement for Tommy Hilfiger's 'Tommy' fragrance).
