A pristine foundational artifact of the Canadian independent scene. This is a factory-sealed, 2xLP pressing of Swollen Members' Balance Instrumentals, released via the Vancouver-based independent label Battleaxe Records.
This instrumental cut of the group's landmark debut album highlights the massive production roster that bridged the Pacific Northwest with the California underground. The vinyl strictly focuses on the heavy-hitting, boom-bap architecture provided by legendary producers including The Alchemist, Evidence (Dilated Peoples), Del, Paul Nice, and Joey Chavez.
