Keepin' it HOT.
Released in October 2000, this vintage issue of Rap Pages features West Coast stalwart and Hoo-Bangin' Records founder Mack 10 on the cover. Dropping right around the release of his fifth studio album, The Paper Route, this cover story captures the Inglewood legend as he continued to carry the torch for West Coast gangsta rap into the new millennium.
This issue is an absolute time capsule, boasting an incredibly deep and cross-regional supporting lineup. It features heavy-hitting articles on Ice T, Gang Starr's Guru, Brand Nubian's Sadat-X, Layzie Bone, Daz Dillinger, Nature, and a special feature on the legendary Rap-A-Lot Records. (Bonus: The back cover features a classic Y2K advertisement for Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek's underground masterpiece, 'Reflection Eternal', released on Rawkus Records).
Condition Disclosure (Please Read):
This is a raw, vintage reading copy. The magazine is 100% complete. The vibrant front cover presents beautifully, exhibiting only minor edge wear and light handling indents near the bottom edge. However, the dark blue back cover highlights noticeable color-breaking crinkling and stress wear along the spine fold, plus minor edge wear. The spine shows standard reading stress ticks and color rubbing. It has not been professionally graded. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
