Released in October 1998, this issue of Rap Pages features West Coast lyrical heavyweight Ras Kass on the cover, perfectly timed with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Rasassination. Known for his intricate wordplay and historical depth, Ras Kass commands a massive cult following among 90s hip-hop purists.

Because it's Rap Pages, the West Coast representation is heavy, featuring pieces on King Tee, Xzibit, E-40, and Saafir. However, this issue also packs massive crossover appeal with features on the Wu-Tang Clan, Three 6 Mafia, and Chicago's Ill State Assassins. This is a raw, vintage reading copy. The magazine is 100% complete. Due to the dark, glossy nature of the front cover, it exhibits noticeable surface scuffing and handling wear when viewed under direct light. There is also a minor diagonal crease and corner blunting on the bottom right corner, as well as visible color-breaking edge wear along the spine fold.
