Returning Superheroism to Hip-Hop.
Released in March 1999, this incredible issue of Rap Pages features Wu-Tang Clan's breakout star, Method Man, on the cover. Dropping shortly after the release of his apocalyptic sophomore album, Tical 2000: Judgement Day, this iconic cover captures Meth ripping open his suit like Superman to reveal the legendary Wu-Tang 'W' insignia.
This issue is an absolute must-have for 90s collectors, featuring a stacked supporting lineup that includes The Roots, Digital Underground, and West Coast legend DJ Quik. (Bonus: The back cover is a massive piece of 90s hip-hop fashion history, featuring a vintage 1999 Pelle Pelle Marc Buchanan advertisement starring Cam'ron).
Condition Disclosure (Please Read):
This is a raw, vintage reading copy. The magazine is 100% complete. Due to the dark, glossy nature of the front cover, it exhibits noticeable surface scuffing and handling wear when viewed under direct light. There are also visible color-breaking stress ticks along the spine fold and minor edge wear. The back cover is clean but shows minor crinkling along the spine and a slight ding on the top right corner. It has not been professionally graded. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
