Rap Pages Magazine - August 1999 - Missy Elliott Cover

The Excellent Adventures of Ms. Elliott.

Released in August 1999, this vibrant issue of Rap Pages features Virginia visionary Missy Elliott on the cover. Dropping right on the heels of her critically acclaimed sophomore album, Da Real World, this cover story captures Missy and the Super Friends crew as they completely redefined the sonic and visual landscape of late-90s hip-hop & R&B.

The issue is packed with an incredible supporting lineup, featuring articles on Wu-Tang's Raekwon, the perpetually eccentric Kool Keith, Snoop Dogg, JT Money, Lil' Cease, and Charli Baltimore. (Bonus: The back cover features a vintage 1999 advertisement for Bacardi Limón).

Condition Disclosure (Please Read):

This is a raw, vintage reading copy. The magazine is 100% complete. The bright white front cover presents beautifully, exhibiting only minor surface handling wear and relatively sharp corners. However, the dark, glossy back cover highlights noticeable color-breaking edge wear, minor chipping, and crinkling along the spine fold. The spine shows standard reading stress ticks. It has not been professionally graded. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
