Jermaine Dupri Wants You to Come Funk With Him!

Released in August 1998, this vintage issue of Rap Pages features So So Def mogul Jermaine Dupri on the cover. Hitting newsstands exactly alongside his platinum-selling solo debut album, Life in 1472, this cover story captures JD at the absolute pinnacle of his late-90s hitmaking dominance.

Beyond the Atlanta representation, this issue is a massive piece of hip-hop true crime history, featuring an investigative report on the murder of Orlando Anderson (Tupac Shakur's suspected killer). The supporting lineup is equally stacked, featuring articles on a rapidly rising DMX, West Coast pioneer MC Ren, Public Enemy, Big Punisher, and the Seattle hip-hop scene. (Bonus: The back cover features a vintage 1998 advertisement for Kurupt's solo debut, 'Kuruption!').

Condition Disclosure (Please Read):

This is a raw, vintage reading copy. The magazine is 100% complete. The bright front cover presents beautifully, exhibiting only minor surface handling wear and light edge wear. However, the dark black borders on the back cover highlight significant color-breaking edge wear, surface scuffing, and prominent crinkling along the spine fold. The spine shows standard reading stress ticks and color rubbing. It has not been professionally graded. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
