A pristine artifact from the ultra-underground early 2000s Texas hip-hop scene. This is a factory-sealed cassette of Mr. Coop's The Chosen One, released independently in 2001.
Following up his 1999 release Games Still Deadly, Mr. Coop delivered this heavy G-Funk and Southern rap project on Fulton Entertainment. The artwork—designed by Phatefx—perfectly captures the era's regional aesthetic, featuring a mugshot backdrop and heavy metallic typography that collectors of the Pen & Pixel era instantly recognize.
