An absolute holy grail of Southern rap history. This is a factory-sealed cassette of B.G.'z True Story, released on Cash Money Records. While the original release was 1995, this copy carries the 1997 packaging copyright from the label's regional peak.
The historical significance of this tape cannot be overstated: the B.G.'z was originally a duo consisting of B.G. (Doogie) and a 12-year-old Lil Wayne (then known as Baby D). This album marks the very first recorded project of Lil Wayne's legendary career. Produced entirely by Mannie Fresh, it also features early appearances from Cash Money pioneers Ms. Tee, Mr. Ivan, and Tec-9 of U.N.L.V.
