Released independently in 1994, Deficit's Rock in the Bronx is a prime example of the hyper-local, DIY hustle that defined the mid-90s New York underground. Featuring quintessential East Coast aesthetic markers—from the Yankee Stadium cover art to tracks like "Big City Blues"—this cassette is a pure "random rap" deep-crate discovery.

Archival Specifications:

Format: Audio Cassette, Standard Jewel Case

Label: Deficit (Independent)

Catalog Number: 1113

Release Year: 1994

Condition Report:
This cassette is a vintage original pressing preserved in its outer poly-wrap. Please read carefully: The back panel of the exterior shrink-wrap features layered, original mom-and-pop retail price stickers, including a faded, handwritten "$6.99" tag. While this provides excellent historical provenance, it heavily obscures the rear artwork and barcode. The wrap also exhibits standard cosmetic wear and scuffing typical of 1994 independent retail stock. Because of the retail sticker presence, this item is not recommended for third-party grading submission; it is priced and sold strictly as a raw, entry-level underground artifact.

Archival Dispatch:
Item is packaged inside a crush-proof archival box and dispatched via USPS Priority Mail with comprehensive end-to-end tracking. Sold as a raw, ungraded vintage artifact.
